Add a distinctive monogram to your letterpress wedding invitation! Choose your monogram from the designs below, or you can also create a stylish monogram using wedding fonts from our library. Monograms made from our wedding fonts are free, and you can add a type monogram to any design, and any piece, at no cost.
Custom calligraphy monograms:
We scoured the country to find the most amazing calligraphers for our invitation designs. True and passionate artists, they are dedicated, like us, to old craftwork and the creation of beauty. Our custom calligraphy monograms are created just for you by our talented artisan cohort. We make our letterpress plates directly from our calligrapher’s artwork. Because these calligraphy monograms are done by hand, please note that we’ll need three extra business days for design. There is an additional cost for this option.
Monogram etiquette: You probably know the fast and furious etiquette about monograms: you should use only double monograms, generally the first initial of the bride and groom’s first names. Wait until the wedding reception and beyond to use that beautiful single monogram (groom’s last name) or triple monogram (groom’s last name initial flanked by first initial of bride on the left, and first initial of groom on the right). But if you wanted to break the rules, we won’t tell anyone, we promise.
Design tips for wedding monograms
- You can add a monogram to a lot of different pieces. Monograms look really great inserted into one of our cartouches, or added to a patterned envelope liner, or printed on the front of a pocketfold, or printed on the back flap of your outer envelope.
