Kate Palermo

Kate’s lifelong fascination with visual art, from children’s book illustration to textile design, has guided her to where she is today at Bella Figura. Kate earned her BFA in sculpture from Cornell University and her MFA from the Graphic Design program at RIT. Since graduating, she has worked as a freelance designer and illustrator, and has recently begun creating small paper mâché sculptures for commercial sale in local shops and markets. 

When not art-ing, Kate enjoys yoga, running, rock climbing, watching old horror movies, petting her cats, and reading graphic novels with her daughter while eating all the snacks.
