Wedding wording and etiquette
What should your reply date be on your reply cards? Typically the reply date is 2-4 weeks prior to the wedding, but this may vary depending on your caterers and venue. Check with your caterers/venue just to make sure!

Reply cards without M. lines
These reply cards contain only a single line of text asking for a reply and giving a reply by date. These cards are pretty and open, but clients do worry if their guests will understand how to fill out a reply card without a M__________ line. If you spell ”honour“ on y our invitation using the British spelling, you’ll want to use the British spelling for ”favour.“ Likewise, if you use the less-traditional but still correct American spelling of ”honor“ on your invitation, spell ”favor“ the American way.
