This custom wedding invitation came to us from our dear friend Candy of Where’s the Party?, and this entire set is a stunner. Remington and Joshua chose a decadent aesthetic for their California nuptials.
While this invitation is a custom design, it pulls elements from our Sibgha and Harro designs. The couple selected our Sibgha pattern for the back of the invitation. The front of the invitation is digitally printed in plum and has a very traditional yet edgy appearance. The deep, rich ink color gives the invitation a decadent look. The invitation is complemented by a vellum overlay, featuring our Harro pattern in rose gold foil. The overlay is a luxurious touch to the already elegant invitation. The Harro pattern makes a second appearance as the envelope liner, except this time it is digitally printed. The plum envelope perfectly coordinates with the plum letterpress ink on the invitation.

The details card is printed using our Bella smooth cotton bright white in 1-ply. A digital flood of old rose ink creates the illusion of color paper. The reverse side (not shown) does not feature a digital flood, creating contrast between the sides. The text appears in plum on both sides of the details card. Lastly, the welcome party card features white digital printing on our holly 1-ply paper. The white text provides sharp contrast and easy legibility, while the dark green paper adds to the moody vibe of this decadent wedding invitation set.

We worked with Diana to bring these stunning bridal shower invitations to life. Our Dendria suit was the starting point, but we swapped out the smooth cotton stock for our handmade paper. We kept the floral belly band, and coordinated it with a floral envelope liner, to match the bright floral decor of the event.
letterpress ink: chambray | embossing: blind | digital ink: cmyk | paper: bella handmade white + 40# vellum | fonts: diotima roman, madison street pro – regular | envelope + belly band: dendria pattern in cmyk | envelope: bella white cotton white pointed flap | customization # 66530
We worked with our friends at Paper Twist to create these lovely invitations. Gold matte foil stamping on white and black stock sets the tone for the events perfectly. A vellum host card with black digital writing overlays the larger invitation. Both envelopes are lined with the hector patten in gold matte.
foil stamping: gold matte | digital ink: black | paper: bella smooth cotton white 2ply + bella black 2ply + 40# vellum | fonts: bellissima script + serlio | envelope liners: hector pattern in gold matte on black + hector pattern in gold matte on white | envelopes: bella cotton no. 10 + bella cotton pointed flap | customization #66462
Vellum is a unique, semi- translucent paper and is compatible with digital printing and foil stamping. We can score this paper, as well – making it an option for belly bands, overlays, and more.
We can use vellum to create tall or standard height belly bands as seen on our Duval and Ichabod suites
Our Ninette v.2 celebration invitation features a digitally printed gatefold wrap
Vellum can also be used to create overlays- our Ines save the date and Harro details cards feature grommeted overlays
Overlays can alternatively be tied on with ribbon, or metallic thread, like in our Valley suite
We worked with Smitten Boutique to create these taupe letterpress wedding invitations with vellum belly-bands for Lauren and Ryan. Although we often see a traditional rectangular shape for invitations, this couple opted for a unique square shape. By using one letterpress color throughout the set, they allowed the design to speak for itself. A sprawling script at the top acted as an accent to an otherwise clean typography layout. To finish the suite off, they added a vellum belly-band with a digitally printed watercolor illustration of Colorado. Thanks to Smitten Boutique for all their help in bringing this vision to life!

We worked with Write Occasions in Colorado to create these charcoal letterpress dinner invitations. They opted for a typography layout using a serif font. The invitation tells guests that a sleigh whisks them away to their cabin with a fire waiting for them. It’s only fitting that they chose a belly-band with a cabin illustration to jazz-up this set. The belly-band made from vellum keeps the overall design clean as well as modern. Finally, the envelope liner printed in Charcoal added a complementary look to the Charcoal based suite.

Write on Sarasota helped us bring these tawny foil save the dates with a vellum overlay to life. The couple married at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Florida this past May. A venue surrounded by palm trees and Floridian flair. Their tawny foil save the dates matched the vibe of their venue with palms placed throughout. A small foil palm tree motif kept the save the date clean yet still appropriate. The vellum overlay added design interest giving a peek inside to the save the date. With the gold grommet at the top, this save the date became interactive for the guest receiving it. They opted for our Capri digital ink on the vellum overlay which added a pop of tropical color to the Tawny foil. Finally, the envelope liner also features a similar palm pattern in Capri as a nod to the vellum overlay.
