This invitation seamlessly blends tradition with a contemporary flair, crafting a finished piece that is both elegant and modern. This blind emboss & foil invitation came to us from our dear friend Susie of Pink House Productions.
This customization is an excellent example of just how much you can alter one of our designs to fit your vision. This invitation is based on our Province design. For the customization, the size was changed from an F-8 to a no. 10, and the orientation was flipped from portrait to landscape. The bride and groom’s initials were separated, instead of overlapping, and printed via blind embossing in place of letterpress.
Embossing creates a raised design, which is a tactile element in its own right, but the luxurious texture of our cotton paper further enhances the feel and look. The remaining text appears in gold shine foil, which presses the foil into the paper, creating even more texture and adding an elegant touch to the finished invitation. Gold shine foil also appears in a classic stripe pattern on the envelope liner.

Blair and Maxwell worked with our NYC store to create their luxurious wedding invitation, befitting of their black-tie affair held at The St. Regis in New York. Discover all the lovely details about this blind deboss wedding invitation.
This is a custom design, but the inspiration came from our Mirabella invitation, specifically, the liner. The inspiration envelope liner features rose gold shine foil on rose text. Blair and Maxwell kept the leaf pattern and the rose gold shine foil, but opted for mauve text. The leaf pattern became a border on the invitation. The scale was reduced to better fit the card’s size, and it appears in blind debossing. Blind debossing is the same process as letterpress printing, except no ink is used, leaving the impression without color. In this instance, the leaf pattern provides subtle texture and consistency with the liner. Guests get one final glimpse of the leaves when two appear as an accent on the details card.

Color is introduced with the rosebud letterpress printing, which beautifully coordinates with the mauve liner. The double-line border separates the blind deboss from the text, adding to the formality of the invitation. The bride and groom’s names, along with the venue name, appear in our Sophia hand calligraphy by Nicole Black. Hand calligraphy is an artisan craft and elevates the look of the invitation.

Viviane and Brian worked with Sweet Paper to create these modern gold foil invitations. The monogram carrying the initials of the bride and groom set the tone of the suite. To add a touch of shimmer, they opted for a rehearsal dinner invitation on our metallic buff paper. They carried this same paper onto the envelope liner as well. This also features the monogram from the invitation in gold foil to keep the overall design consistent.

We worked with our friends at Ipanema Press to create these crisp black letterpress wedding invitations. Above the letterpress, a blind embossed monogram added dimensional texture. Whereas, a pop of copper foil used on the reply as well as website cards introduced metallic accents. An envelope liner finished the set off in a custom pattern shining in copper foil. Finally, a menu printed in copper and black letterpress ink kept everything cohesive.
We’re also happy to announce that we are extending our day of promotion through December 2019!
