A couple’s dream wedding invitations, complete with a custom monogram, came true with our talented friends at Oliver’s Twist in Carmel, Indiana. Hannah and Adam’s invitation suite set the perfect tone for their elegant ceremony and reception.
We are always thrilled to see custom designs that truly align with your vision. The couple Hannah and Adam started with our “Carmichael” design and made it their own. These two kept the single-line border but swapped the wreath surrounding the monogram with a more formal frame. The stylized ‘K’ monogram featured throughout the suite also appeared on the save-the-date, while the matching tag adhered to the tri-fold events card.
The invitation suite was printed on our white 2-ply cotton paper, nicely displaying the deep letterpress impression. The script font and gold matte foil stamping ensure the bride and groom’s names stand out.
We always look forward to working with Oliver’s Twist and wish Hannah and Adam all the best! Contact us for a quote on your own Carmichael customization.
Sculpted embossing is a sophisticated variation on embossing wherein a multilevel, contoured appearance allows for a variety of depth, edges, and curves for a deeper and more detailed emboss to your design. Flower petals and leaves look life-like, and mountains and valleys feel rich with topographical detail. Our luxuriously thick 2- and 3-ply papers beautifully showcase sculpted embossing, the perfect customization for any memorable occasion.
We recently printed a suite for our dear friends at Glow Paper Company that prominently features sculpted embossing. The company’s Creative Director, Haleigh, explains, “This bride wanted an elegant and timeless wedding invitation but with a wow factor! Surrounding her classic gold foil text in sculpted florals was the perfect fit.”

Sculpted Embossing Basics
Sculpted embossing is compatible with all of our papers, but we think it looks the most striking on our 3-ply paper; the thickness of the paper allows for the multiple levels to provide dramatic results.
This technique can also be combined with our other print methods, allowing you to truly design a creative, one-of-a-kind piece that adds stunning and swoon-worthy detail.
We love sculpted embossing and look forward to featuring this print method in more designs. Contact us to learn more and get a quote for your invitation using sculptured embossing!
We are delighted to see Katie and Amanda’s lovely Miami wedding featured on the go-to wedding website Style Me Pretty. Our friends at Masi Events handled all of the beautiful details, including the stationery for this South Florida wedding.
The couple’s save-the-date is a custom design and features pewter letterpress on smooth cotton 1-ply, including a detailed motif of the venue. The bride’s names appear in sherbet letterpress for a subtle burst of color, completed with a photo of the couple digitally printed on the reverse side.
The typography-inspired invitations are a customization of our “Gwynn” design. The use of 2-ply smooth cotton in stone letterpress allows for a deep impression. The same color is digitally printed on the pocketfold, featuring a floral pattern on the interior and a basketweave pattern on the exterior. The basketweave pattern also appears as the border on the welcome card. The delicate color palette and floral pattern are a nod to this beautiful Miami venue, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
Additional pieces in the South Florida wedding suite include folded programs secured with silk ribbon for the service and menus, table cards, and additional signage for the reception. The printed pieces feature the same color palette and floral motifs for a cohesive feel.
Working with Masi Events is always a delight, and we wish Katie and Amanda the best! Get in touch for a quote on your own Gwynn customization.
We’re always looking for new trends to share with you. To start the new year, we sat down with designer Katie Magee to gain insight into 2025 design trends and get an idea of what you can expect to see in luxury invitations. Designing with us for over five years, Katie loves clean lines and fine detail, which naturally lends itself to letterpress printing. Her designs range from classic to whimsical, and we knew she would have a good handle on what will be big in 2025!
Tonal Sets
Many couples are using coordinating inks and paper colors for a gorgeous tone-on-tone look or a range of inks and paper colors in a certain shade to carry a tonal look throughout the set.
Blues and greens have been popular, and our variety of colors and inspiring designs can apply to any occasion.
We had fun with the tone-on-tone trend when testing our new paper colors here in the studio. Corresponding letterpress inks complement the paper and create a sophisticated monochromatic look.
Soft Color Palettes and Textures
Think blushy pinks, dusty blues, sage greens, and light neutrals, along with blind embossing or debossing, paired with cottony handmade papers and soft silk ribbons. Our Melrose design perfectly incorporates dainty florals, a delicate script font, and a soft color palette. The addition of handmade paper and a luxurious silk ribbon elevates this save the date, as seen above.
Velvet Papers
Velvet has been a showstopper throughout 2024, and we still see it used creatively in so many sets. Across cards, liners, tags, bellybands, and pocketfolds, velvet brings a luxurious tactile element to already stunning sets.
Velvet introduces dimension and depth and gives an ethereal quality to a set. Our Selene design is an excellent example of the lovely texture velvet adds to an already stunning design.
Trendsetting
Incorporating any of these trends into your design will ensure your finished pieces are on-trend today while maintaining timeless elegance, resonating over time. We love creating new and exciting designs and want to help you with your save-the-date or invitation! Browse our designs to find the perfect piece, or contact us to create something completely original and custom.
Each year, Pantone releases its chosen color of the year–and the 2025 Pantone Color of the Year is the decadent “Mocha Mousse.” This rich brown is earthy while elegant, on-trend, and an excellent match for our Bella paper in color Sable.
Many of our new inks and papers work beautifully with this color to create sophisticated palettes. Try using our new inks, like Toffee and Ganache, or existing favorites, Umber and Espresso. All of these inks can be printed in letterpress, engraving, or digital form, except Umber, which is only available in letterpress and digital.
In addition to Bella Sable paper, we also offer Bella Mocha velvet, which can be featured on invites and liners or bellybands and tags, all to elevate the look of your printed piece! The envelopes shown above are custom and converted in-house using Bella Sable paper.
Digitally printed liners also coordinate with our envelopes. You can see the specific colors used in the following image.

We worked with our friend Johnna from Big City Bride to create these stunning save the dates for her and Sam’s big day. The illustration and main text were letterpressed in classic black. A fun fuchsia foil border, punctuated with text details add as shiny pink element. The card was edge painted in persimmon, adding to the vibrant color story. The envelope liner features illustrated Chicago landmarks, and the couple’s sweet dog!

We worked with our friends at Alligator Soup to create these gorgeous holiday invitations. The invitation was printed on metallic opal, diecut in our winston shape, and printed in green shine foil. The backer card is wine velvet, printed in our Marseille pattern in gold matte foil. These were joined together with a gold grommet. The wine velvet is repeated as the envelope liner, creating a stunning invitation suite.
We worked with our friends at Big City Bride to create Sarah and Garrett’s gorgeous floral wedding suite. Our Underwood v.2 suite provided inspiration for the invitation card, with debossed florals. The debossed design on the details card comes from our Bodleian welcome reception card. Lavender letterpress is used throughout, creating a soft palette. A customized version of our Underwood liner pattern brings in additional pastels- a perfect compliment for a summer wedding.
