It’s always special to be featured in an issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, but when the real wedding feature happens to be for an editor of the magazine? Well, that’s just the icing on the cake. We were thrilled to work with Katie on the invitations for her Shelter Island wedding last September. Katie and her husband Samuel chose a botanical theme for their wedding to reflect the wild nature of the island, and included a variety of flora and fauna motifs featuring native animals and plants that would be in season in late summer. Katie shared that “everything featured was actually on the island, with the exception of the blue cranes, a nod to Samuel’s last name.” For the invitation suite, we letterpress printed the invitations and reply cards, and digitally printed the back of each card to include vintage artwork featuring insects and leafy botanicals. Katie’s mother calligraphed the invitation envelopes, which featured a vintage floral print envelope liner and vintage postage stamps. We have our friends at Prickly Pear Press in Midland, Texas to thank for these geometric couples shower invitations based on our Briolette design. Rose gold foil was paired with a palette of blues and greens for a look that was gender-neutral enough for the bride and the groom. A foil stamped envelope liner in rose gold added another trace of shine to this bold customization.

It’s always a treat to spot our brides and grooms on the pages of Martha Stewart Weddings! Kate and Nick worked with the team at our flagship store to customize our Deveril invitations for their July wedding on Fishers Island. Hand calligraphy accents by Sarah Hanna and a custom map of the island (printed on the backside of the invitations) added a personal touch to their classic letterpress wedding invitations. The bride and groom opted to print a combination website + RSVP card, and received the most creative and fun responses from their guests – including poems and videos! On Monday, May 22 we hosted a pop-up event for our dealer network at Drift Studio in New York City. The event included a variety of attractions like workshops, calligraphy demonstrations, a lively panel discussion, and the opportunity to preview our newest collections! Calligraphers Sarah Hanna and Virginia Lucas Hart greeted attendees at our calligraphy bar, which featured a fun acrylic table-topper showcasing the New York City skyline from our Tribeca design. Ashley and William customized our Ophelia design to create these lovely two-tone pink rose gold wedding invitations for their Moss Mountain Farm wedding. The rose gold foil highlighted the couple’s names and parts of the handdrawn cartouche along with the solid foil envelope liner.

Our friends at Marissa Allie Designs created these fabulous foil stamped gold and pink Bat Mitzvah invitations for Maclyn and her family, and we had the pleasure of printing them. A flashy palette of gold shine and fuchsia shine were put to good use on the bold typography and thick border while our splatter-inspired ardea pattern added another playful touch of personalization.
