We worked with our friends at The Social Type in Little Rock, Arkansas to create Kelsey and Lawson’s invitations. Inspiration came from our Aiden design, with a venue illustration foil stamped on the invitation card. This was repeated in the pocket-sized details booklet. How smart to have an easy-to-carry guide for your guests! The suite was completed with our tapestry envelope liner pattern, which was accented by a blacked pearl ribbon.
We worked with our friends at Walnut Square Gifts and Stationery to create Katherine and John’s invitations. Guests were greeted by a custom illustrated gatefold when opening the invitation. The stunning suite features lilac shine foil stamping on the invitation, envelope, and reception card. The lilac shine bevel truly does shine! A cheeky disco ball invites guests to keep the party going.

Leah and Andrew worked with our friends at Arnie Paperie to create their beautiful wedding invitation suite. Toast and blush combine for a subtle color palette. Florals from our Denton suite are featured on the liner, and belly band. The weekend details card combines blush digital printing with toast letterpress, a perfect compliment to the rest of the suite.

Q: What are some of the most rewarding aspects of your job? How lucky am I to play a small part in a couple’s wedding day! I love the creative process of choosing design elements, and I can talk about fonts, colors and embellishments for hours…and often do. Our goal is always to work together with our clients to bring their vision to life. To witness the joy of a bride or groom seeing their wedding invitation for the first time is so rewarding.
Q: Do you have any current trends you’re loving?
I love the playful mix of traditional and modern fonts, which bring so much visual interest and personality. Custom watercolors are so “of the moment”, and add such a special touch to any invitation. And with the right suite, I adore a big silk bow tying everything together with such elegance.
Q: What do you think your clients enjoy most about working with you to create their event stationery? We pride ourselves on spending time getting to know our clients, and hope our appointments feel like a conversation with friends. We bring our knowledge and experience to the table, and try to make the process easy and fun.
Q: Anything else we should know or that you would like to share? I could not do this alone! I am blessed with three lovely ladies who work beside me, Gretchen, Annie and Nona. Together we make up the Cambridge Street family, warmly welcoming new clients into our happy place every day.
We worked with our friends at Berings to create these gorgeous Bat Mitzvah invitations. The Shayla sample inspired the design, but was elevated with a more classic font pairing. The party card shines with gold prism foil stamping on our metallic rose quartz paper. The suite is wrapped in a rose quartz bow, the perfect way to tie together all the vibrant pink tones.

Katherine and William worked with the team at our NYC studio to create their wedding invitations. Since the wedding was at the Liberty Warehouse, our Warehouse sample suite was the perfect starting point. Stone letterpress ink was used for a more subtle look, and the invite size was changed to an A-7. We love how the suite came together!

We worked with our friends at Salutations Home to create these sweet bridal shower invitations. The text was printed in taupe letterpress. The card features a spruce letterpressed border, like the borders on our Hadaway suite. A supplied vintage illustration of hummingbirds on a branch completes the invitations.

The Rainbow Room venue inspired Jessica Downs to create our Sherah design. She wanted to create a modern suite inspired by the city. The pattern is based on an art deco wallpaper with a subtle nod to the skyscraper skyline.
Below, the suite is reimagined in rich burgundy and bronze, perfect for a winter wedding.
We worked with our friends at Union Street Papery to create Allison and Ryan’s beautiful springtime wedding invitations. Chambray and tea rose letterpress inks are the perfect spring color combination, and accent the florals of the frame. We used several watercolor motifs from our library to make the details card more unique. Our Emmerich liner in chambray was the perfect finishing detail.

Brooke and Jonathan worked with the team at our NYC studio to create their Brooklyn- themed wedding invitation suite. Our Derian design inspired the modern font-driven layout. We also incorporated a border as used on our Hadaway design. The suite highlights the stunning venue views with a letterpressed image of the Brooklyn Bride, and NYC map liner. We love the sweet red heart marking the wedding venue!

We worked with our friends at Union Street Papery to create Julie and Alfie’s beautiful wedding invitations. We used Spruce and Cinder letterpress inks on the invitation to create a romantic vineyard palette. A flood of cinder letterpress ink prints the rehearsal dinner card – the absence of ink on the card itself creates the white of the text.
