Brittany and Tyler worked with our friends at Smitten Boutique in Chicago, Illinois to concept their modern typography and floral wedding invitations. They paired the bold, contemporary type style from our Loft design with the playful, hand-drawn florals from our Loley design and printed in a palette of pinks and purples fit for a May wedding. Our Olensen patterned envelope liner tied the colors together perfectly.
Michelle and Torger worked with Pulp and Ink who helped us bring their vision of a floral blush and navy wedding invitation to life. They paired the floral pattern with a geometric border around the perimeter of the typography. Rose Gold Shine foil accents on the border and bride and groom’s names added a metallic accent to the set. They kept the reply card consistent with the rest of the suite. A Bella Blue reply envelope added another pop of color. Finally, they tied everything together with an envelope liner in navy.

Our designer Andrea Streeter reimagined her Wright design as a southwest inspired invitation. Coral letterpress typography, as well as a blush backdrop, kept a tonal color palette. Geometric shapes carried from the original Wright design also added to the retro feel. The horizontal orientation allowed for room for the designer to play with the line elements. Finally, a cactus motif used within the monogram gave the design that southwestern flair, perfect for any modern Nevada affair.

Sarah and Michael chose our Welford design as inspiration for their elegant foil stamped hand calligraphy wedding invitations. Their pink and gray palette incorporated rose gold foil and blush and marsala digital inks that highlighted the romantic hand calligraphy used throughout their suite. A custom belly band kept their enclosure cards secure and added another touch of rose gold elegance. Many thanks to our friends at Oliver’s Twist!

Two of our new designs for 2015 – Cordelia by Kelle McCarter and Blush by Mariel Mirra – were featured recently by Four Seasons Weddings! The feature highlighted one of our favorite ways to customize: hand lettering. Blush features hand calligraphy accents by Elizabeth Hardin, while Cordelia features some of Kelle’s own Maura styled calligraphy accents. Many thanks to Four Seasons for including us in this great round-up!
Inspired by lush florals and vibrant shades of pink and orange, Mariel Mirra began her design process for Blush with a paintbrush. This watercolor wedding invitation suite features hand-painted watercolors that we digitally printed on our new Bella Smooth Cotton paper, with gold matte foil and Holcombe style calligraphy accents adding some glamour. For a Blush inspired wedding, Mariel envisions lots of colorful flowers, festive ribbon streamers and the occasional pop of metallic gold.
