A super-clean fusion of Tara Hogan’s Hummingbirds and our always popular Deveril (by Beth Ann Seal), this is a beautiful example of just how endlessly our designs can be combined and customized. It features Hebrew lettering, Pumpkin and Charcoal inks, and is printed onto our 1-ply white paper. Fly on you crazy little birds.

We offer a (free!) eco message letterpressed tastefully on the back of your invitation (in one of the invitation’s ink colors). We keep the impression very light so the letterpress will not show through the front. Our eco specs say, “letterpressed with wind power | tree free paper (100% reclaimed cotton)vegetable-oil based ink | old cast iron presses | love.” We think it is a subtle way to spread our message with the ones you love!

Our recent love for the Mediterranean ink color trend grows with this elegant design customization of our Delambre Classic letterpress invitation. Paired with cool Pewter ink, this traditional design is modernized with a trendy two color combination! Calligraphy accents by Sarah Hanna bring a feminine touch. The calligraphy monogram was replaced with a font monogram (2A) from our monogram library which helped keep costs low but still made for a beautiful design. You can add a monogram from our font library (for free!) to any of our invitations. The set is complete with a timeless Rustic Crosshatch envelope liner also in Mediterranean ink!

The perfect precursor to what’s sure to be a gorgeous vintage-chic outdoor wedding, this customization of our Victrola Letterpress design has got everybody here at the shop… spinning. Pressed in Deep Blue and Pool on our 1-ply ivory paper, the old school typography, cool hues, and ornate flourishes really lend this set some sick traditional Americana vibe. Two color printing throughout the set (even on the envelopes) really helps to keep things cohesive and well balanced.

We spotted another stunning Bella Figura bride and groom real wedding feature on Style Me Pretty! The ceremony and reception took place at the historic Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, Arizona. We love the details, color scheme, and most of all the jaw-dropping open-back dress by Monique Lhuillier. Our Victoria Calligraphy Letterpress Invitations by Sarah Hanna were printed in black ink on our luxurious 2-ply ivory paper and perfectly complimented the event with classic elegance.
The couple planned an outdoor ceremony and reception all within a “garden-party” theme but encountered an unexpected twist! The bride says, “The weather gods had a different plan for us, however, as it decided to pour the day of our wedding and was freezing cold (ok, it was in the 40s, but that’s freezing for us Arizonans!)We made the decision to move everything indoors the morning of the wedding and I was a little concerned that our Plan B back-up space would end up looking like a generic ballroom. However, through sheer determination and incredibly hard work, our design team, Avant-Garde Studio, and our event planner, Rhonda Rush, were able to “recreate” my garden party theme indoors. Avant-Garde even built the entire tent structure inside the ballroom and draped all of the walls. They made the ballroom incredibly unique looking and beautiful. We moved the ceremony into the architecturally stunning Aztec Ballroom and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Despite the rain, the day was perfect, and the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. The sun even made an appearance long enough for our wonderful photographer, Elyse Hall, to snap some beautiful outdoor shots before the festivities began. The food was delicious, the music was lively and the dancing seemed to last all night, just like we wanted.”

We have our amazing friends at Social Graces in Nashville, Tennessee to thank for this elegant design customization of our String Calligraphy letterpress invitation! The invitation, featured in Pale Gray and Shell inks on our 1-ply white cotton paper, has matching reply postcards and detail cards in Pale Gray which complete the gorgeous set. Sheila and Chris chose our Deveril letterpress invitations for their chic Manhattan wedding and were kind enough to share photos of their invitations in action! We printed their invitations in classic blank in on our cotton paper. Sheila then lined the envelopes herself with pretty, patterned paper and worked with Trial By Cupakes for calligraphy addressing. Their wedding took place at the gorgeous Alger House and Sheila wore a stunning Pucci dress. We love seeing how it all came together! Over the past couple of years, we’ve found ourselves completely blown away by the thoughtfulness and generous spirits of the couples we’re honored to call Bella Figura brides and grooms. We think it’s so cool when a couple opts to forgo the traditional guest favors and instead makes a donation to a worthy nonprofit. To encourage this large-hearted trend, in early 2011 we started offering free letterpress favor cards to those couples making a donation to nonprofit organization doing good for the world. We hope that our donation will help the team of doctors find a cure to many of today’s illnesses that primarily attack young children.”

In preparation for our first trek to the National Stationery Show this past week, we joined forces with our sister company (and BFF) Smock to send out a fabulous letterpress invitation to show attendees. The design features our Simple Geometrics pattern in blind deboss paired with gorgeous calligraphy from Bella Figura calligrapher Sarah Hanna printed in our Prussian ink. Watermelon edge painting and a pairing of great Smock invitations made for the perfect letterpress package.
