It’s quite often that our friends at Gus & Ruby Letterpress send us requests to print cards with a nautical theme – keep in mind they are of course located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. We love the fact that the design elements on these are kept quite minimal, not going overboard – and the rope motifs literally tie everything together on these.

One of our favorite things about the real weddings from our brides & grooms are the fantastic wedding venues they choose. Chelsea and David held their wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns to create a perfectly rustic New York farm wedding in an unforgettable setting. The Splendor design by Maura Gaulthier looks like it was designed specifically for this wedding. We aren’t the only ones in love with this wedding – Style Me Pretty also featured it with more gorgeous photos from Bryce Covey Photography and Robert Sukrachand.

From the bride, “David and I both love that special something that happens when great people, good food, and yummy wine come to the table to share a meal and we wanted to curate that experience for our wedding. Once we decided on Blue Hill, the stage was set for all of the other elements to fall into place. Our whimsical and romantic invitations from Bella Figura provided the first insight into the vision of our day and each item on our checklist seemed to build upon the last. From my dress to our Hudson Valley Honey favors, everything was thought of in relation to the bigger picture. We wanted the day to be stunning, but we kept coming back to that word “comfortable” as we considered every decision.”

We were thrilled to create this glamorous invitation and day-of suite featuring Kamal‘s popular Vendage design for Mandy and Nishan’s beautiful wedding reception in Alberta, Canada. Their gorgeous celebration was a follow-up to an intimate destination wedding in Singapore, and was featured recently on Style Me Pretty.

From the bride, “I chose the Vendage invitation design by Kamal because it was more exotic, but also very elegant. I chose the colors based on the colors in my cholee – I loved the emerald green and gold. I thought it would be neat to do two colors — one color in letterpress ink and one in foil. The end result was gorgeous!“
