Lovely details, quite sophistication, and plenty of texture have us fawning over Emily and Shelby’s blind emboss wedding stationery. We had the absolute pleasure of creating this couple’s save-the-date and invitation suite with our dear friend Carlyn of Lee’s Paperie.

Everything about these custom pieces is gorgeous in an understated way. Handmade paper is always lovely and introduces so much texture, from the feathery deckle edge to the soft, pillowy surface. The use of blind embossing, which creates a raised area, for the bride and groom’s names on both the save the date and the invitation, adds even more of a tactile component. Letterpress printing in mineral for the remaining text is subtle and lowkey. Abundant negative space proves that less is more and balances the layout, further emphasizing the couple’s names.
