Our lovely friends at Sweet Paper in La Jolla, California, helped Alexandra and Jan create this timeless wedding invitation customization of our “Elton” design. The couple retained the double-line border but changed the fonts, swapped the color paper for our Bella smooth cotton, and removed the branch motif to better suit their black-tie affair.
The classic combination of Champagne Matte foil and crisp white paper was complemented by some of our most popular embellishments, including mother-of-pearl silk ribbon, metallic gold thread, and metallic seashell envelope liners.

Meaghan and Benjamin infused many personal details – like personalized vows and a hometown venue – into their timeless San Francisco wedding at the Fairmont Hotel. To set the tone for their big day, they customized our Roosevelt design with classic black letterpress ink and gold matte foil stamped accents. The bride’s nickname for her groom – “B” – inspired the petite golden bumblebee motif that was used on many of the design elements throughout the wedding, including the programs and menus that we printed, as well as their cocktail napkins, welcome basket goodies, and even the cake! Style Me Pretty has even more photos from their big day, but here are a few of our favorites – take a look!
We’re big fans of using an invitation to influence other decorative elements of your wedding day (invitation-inspired wedding cakes, anyone?), but if you’re struggling to narrow down your invitation style, take a note from The Knot! Andrea Fowler from The Knot recommends letting your dress influence your invitation design, and created a variety of picture-perfect pairings including our lacy Reticella invitation by Beth Barr next to Claire Pettibone’s intricate Pearle couture wedding gown. Art Deco more your style? Our Bejeweled design by Kamal pairs perfectly with Temperley London’s beaded Tatiana dress. Be sure to head over to The Knot for even more invitation and dress pairing ideas!
Earlier this spring we had a blast meeting with New York brides at the Big Fake Wedding! The Big Fake Wedding is a bridal show alternative complete with an emotional vow renewal ceremony, light bites and a dance-party reception. “Wedding guests” are brides- and grooms-to-be who get to truly experience the wedding vendors in action – fun, right?! We customized our Art Paint design by Mariel Mirra for the occasion, and created a colorful, digitally printed suite with gold foil stamped accents to coordinate with the vibrant color palette used for the entire event. Here’s a peek – be sure to visit Ruffled and Black Sheep Bride to see more images from the event!

Lauren and David chose our Charmed New York design to start spreading the news for their New York City wedding. The couple printed their NYC inspired save the dates in gold matte foil, and chose classic black ink for their New Calligraphy letterpress wedding invitations. Since the couple met and fell in love in the city, a wedding in the big apple was a must. After their ceremony at the Church of the Incarnation, the bride and groom surprised their guests with double-decker buses for a quick tour through the city before the reception! At the reception, the view from Studio 450’s penthouse loft space gave guests an amazing view of the skyline. A sparkler send off at the end of the night made for a beautiful end to this romantic winter wedding. To see more details and photos, head over to Style Me Pretty.
Ilana and Timothy chose our Glitterati invitation suite for their winter wedding at the Foundry in Long Island City. They created a warm glow by using a variety of lanterns, votives, tall taper candles and bistro lights throughout the venue, and added mistmatched couches to create a cozy lounge area. The couple even drew inspiration from their invitations for their wedding cake! Visit Style Me Pretty to see more photos from this beautiful real wedding!
Drawing inspiration from backyard Parisian weddings, Charlotte and Timothy created a romantic oasis in the nation’s capital for their October wedding. Instead of traditional fall colors, the couple went for a warm, muted color palette of taupe, ivory, champagne and rose gold for their celebration at The Meridian House. They chose our Whisper design for their save the dates, which featured rose gold foil edging, and selected our Modern Fete design for their wedding invitation suite.
