The couple chose our 2-ply smooth cotton paper in ivory. Our smooth cotton paper is made just for us, and it has a smooth surface with a satiny feel. The bride and groom’s names appear in holly letterpress with the remaining text appearing in spruce letterpress. A single pine branch accent appears in blind emboss. Embossing is a printing technique that utilizes heat and pressure to create a raised design. The absence of ink, known as blind emboss, emphasizes the paper, adding a subtle texture.
The pine bough accents are a nod to the season while still maintaining a formal and elegant, yet minimalist design. The pine branch accent is repeated on the custom envelope liner. Featuring a digitally printed pattern for a cohesive look. We offer a wide selection of envelope liner patterns, but we can also create something unique.

This invitation seamlessly blends tradition with a contemporary flair, crafting a finished piece that is both elegant and modern. This blind emboss & foil invitation came to us from our dear friend Susie of Pink House Productions.
This customization is an excellent example of just how much you can alter one of our designs to fit your vision. This invitation is based on our Province design. For the customization, the size was changed from an F-8 to a no. 10, and the orientation was flipped from portrait to landscape. The bride and groom’s initials were separated, instead of overlapping, and printed via blind embossing in place of letterpress.
Embossing creates a raised design, which is a tactile element in its own right, but the luxurious texture of our cotton paper further enhances the feel and look. The remaining text appears in gold shine foil, which presses the foil into the paper, creating even more texture and adding an elegant touch to the finished invitation. Gold shine foil also appears in a classic stripe pattern on the envelope liner.

However, the whimsical liner adds an unexpected yet perfectly coordinated touch of personality. See all the pieces up close and discover what makes this blind embossed wedding invitation so special.
This client’s job is a customization of our Sherah design. At first glance, the final printed piece strongly resembles its inspiration, including the same die-cut shape combined with a beveled and painted edge. This custom wedding invitation swaps out foil stamping for letterpress printing in our vine ink, giving the card a more vibrant and springlike appearance. The bride and groom’s names are still blind embossed. The crisp, raised text provides a stately and sophisticated feel.
The Quinn liner, a fun floral pattern, replaces the art deco-inspired Sherah pattern featured in the original. The liner adds some whimsy while still maintaining the elegance of the invitation. The foil and digital Quinn pattern is repeated on the belly band and pocket panel, along with a few accent flowers on the reply card.

Blind emboss accents and tawny shine foil set the perfect tone for Kaitlin and John’s wedding invitations. This bride and groom worked with our dear friends at The Dandelion Patch to create their elegant invitation suite. The majority of the text is letterpress printed in our desert ink, while the bride and groom’s names, along with one line of text, are foil-stamped in tawny shine. Utilizing foil stamping emphasizes the names and adds a subtle flair.
Blind emboss floral accents surrounding the text add dimension and delicate detail, coordinating with the fine lines of the script font used for the foil-stamped text. The adjacent floral motifs mirror one another to create symmetry without overwhelming the design.
The reply card features letterpress printing in desert ink and the same fonts to maintain consistency throughout all printed pieces. Lastly, a die-cut tag continues the floral theme. Blind emboss accents provide detail and make this a charming auxiliary piece.

We had the pleasure of printing this stunning suite from our friends at Soirée Signatures in Mobile, Alabama. A 3-ply, double-sided, beveled invitation was slipped into a custom embossed pocket panel with a cut-out to highlight the couple’s duogram digitally printed on the reverse side of the invitation. The attention to detail is remarkable and truly showcases the talent behind these custom-designed pieces.
Even the menus received the luxury treatment, die-cut into custom shapes. Everything about this invitation suite is custom. The event was a special day full of so many beautiful moments and items, and we are honored to have played a part in creating some of the beauty.

Our custom creations don’t just stop at just wedding invitations! We’re always happy to see other events come through our shop like these blind embossed derby party invitations. Menage Fine Stationery & Gifts provided the design for this bold statement-maker. Blind Embossed typography kept the style of the design minimal as well as monochromatic. Our Red Shine foil easily stole the show as it popped the motif off the page with ease. Finally, a subtle envelope liner printed in Shale digital ink kept the attention on the invitation.
