Claire and Brad’s gorgeous New Zealand wedding is one of those celebrations that is just beyond dreamy. Inspired by lace, elegance, English tea parties and summer, Claire planned a stunning vintage chic wedding with whimsical touches in a sophisticated color palette of white, cream and ivory with hints of soft powder blue. They chose our Cartoccio letterpress wedding invitations, printed in xanadu ink on our ivory cotton paper, to tie in with their chic and elegant affair. Claire wore a 1920s inspired dress from Phillipa Lepley Couture and the bridesmaids wore vintage style dresses from Whistles. The guys donned slim line powder blue suits that felt incredibly fashionable and only slightly like Las Vegas (in a good way). Claire and Brad met while attending university and Brad’s father officiated at their ceremony. A sweet love story paired with a neutral color palette and pretty vintage touches make this wedding an affair to remember.

While we love bold, modern designs, sometimes it’s the simplest of letterpress wedding invitations that are the most elegant. Take this version of our Modern Calligraphy design for example. This fall Bella Figura, our parent company Boxcar Press and our sister company Smock got a lot larger and moved into some shiny new digs. Our expansion (17 letterpresses, 55 employees, 24,000 square feet) makes us one of the largest letterpress shops in the country. For the past few months we have been packing up, building new walls, moving presses, expanding our print shop and moving our operations from one end of an old warehouse in downtown Syracuse, New York to the other. Now we’ve cleaned up our dust and we’re inviting you to come check us out!

These incredible letterpress wedding invitations feature a vibrant color palette inspired by Italian pottery. The wedding announcements were printed in Mediterranean and daffodil inks on our luxurious 2-ply paper, and were embellished with surf edge painting. We also printed a petite letterpress save the date card in surf ink along with a letterpress thank you card in daffodil to match.
Last month we launched our second annual Election Day Sale where we asked Bella Figura clients to get out and vote! Why? Because we like voting. And we think everyone should do it more often. (It’s amazing what happens when we all get involved. We really can change the world.) Of course, we sweetened the deal a bit. Clients who sent us a photo showing us they went out and voted received 25 free letterpress invitation sets. This year we were blown away by the response! Brides, grooms, moms, dads, and even pets got in on the voting action!
