Romantic elegance, lovely details, and a vintage-inspired feel have us swooning over Katherine and Matthew’s French estate wedding invitations. This couple worked with our dear friend Carolyn of Just Paper and Tea to create this breathtaking stationery.
Katherine and Matthew chose to customize our Estate V.2 design, a fitting choice since their wedding venue was Château Garde in Bordeaux, France. Gold matte foil stamping adds a layer of luxury while perfectly maintaining the formal, stately feel. The deckled edge of our handmade paper adds texture and an artisanal quality that reinforces the old-world aesthetic.

The couple provided a custom illustration of the venue, which serves as the invitation’s focal point. The highly detailed fine-line illustration is charming and sets the tone for this extravagant affair. An elegant, flowing script font gives the invitation a personal, yet formal quality. The looping flourishes are dramatic and sophisticated, balancing the high level of detail in the illustration.
The invitation is secured within a vellum wrap and tied with a decadent silk ribbon for a memorable presentation.
