Formal Wedding Invitation with Old Florida Charm
This formal wedding invitation suite, which came to us from our dear friend Caitlin at Irving Place, is elegant but has hints of beachy, Old Florida charm. A customization of our Andras design, this letterpress invitation is formal yet fun.

The couple opted to use a serif font instead of the script font from the inspiration design. They kept the edge painting, but changed it to chambray, which coordinated with the letterpress printing.
The original design has a bit of a folk art-inspired feel, but this customization swaps that for some Old Florida charm. Instead of a patterned liner, the couple chose our metallic oyster text without printing. This understated liner is reminiscent of a sandy beach, subtly adding to the Florida vibe.

The reply card features a large flood of chambray letterpress, with the text created by the reverse or the areas without printing. The printing area is slightly smaller than the card, creating a wide, raised border, which adds to the elegance of the reply card. A stately palm tree motif is fun yet maintains a formal feel.

The details card is a whimsical die-cut. This cloud-shaped card features chambray letterpress for consistency across all the pieces in the suite. The letterpress printed border mimics the border on the reply card. The top of the details card is adorned with a modern duogram featuring the bride and groom’s first initials separated by a thin line. This duogram adds a personal touch while staying true to the minimalist and low-key vibe of the suite.
