2025 Spring Collection: Motifs

The Bella Figura 2025 Spring Collection is almost here! This mini-release highlights many of our wonderful new motifs and how they can be used to create something truly one of a kind. We paired them with reimagined updates to some of our most popular designs over the past few years to create some real design magic!

When we updated our Design Library in the fall, we added over a hundred new hand-drawn and painted motifs created by our talented team of designers. We carefully curated a collection of motifs that could be used for any event and idea you can imagine. From an expansive range of event card icons to watercolor beach umbrellas and pickleball paddles, we tried to show it all! Quirky and fun to elegant and sophisticated, there is something for every style. So, in this release, we want to showcase the ways these motifs can be incorporated to customize a design. From as simple as bringing in motifs to create a one-of-a-kind envelope liner to creating custom die shapes for a unique insert card or tag, the possibilities are endless!

Here is some insight into the creative process behind this release from our Creative Lead, Jessica.

I had a lot of fun creating this mini collection, and I hope that shines through in these designs. You’ll see some of our newest ink and paper colors also mixed into this release. As well as a few custom converted envelopes. This is a great way to customize your designs with colors outside of our standard color envelopes.

Braxton 2

The charming architectural details of Cotswold cottages and gardens inspire this design. It has large florals and geometric trellis shapes in shades of bright French Blue and vintage Verdigris green ink. I wanted the texture of the sculpted blind embossing to shine here, so I kept the motifs minimal and tonal in letterpress ink. But since this is a Texas wedding, I brought in the Watercolor Cowboy boots as a fun custom die shape for the after-party celebration!

Derian 2

I envisioned this for a small and sweet garden party wedding. I pulled together some of my favorite floral motifs like Lavender Sprigs and Queen Anne’s Lace and paired them with the sprawling Ivy to create a whimsical and elegant vibe. And if you know me, you know I love a bird on an invitation suite, so I had to bring in the Watercolor Hummingbird as a custom die shape tag to tie the whole suite together!

Duval 2

Where color and creativity meet! I wanted everything about this suite to be bold and bright. Using many of our tropical motifs, I created a custom crest on the bellyband and brought those motifs in throughout all other pieces, from the subtle Monstera reply card to the over-the-top gatefold save the date. It shows the versatility of our motifs and how to use them!

Hadaway 2

I wanted this to be for a colorful springtime backyard celebration. Inspired by the bright florals you’d find blossoming in your very own garden. The poppy patterns pair perfectly with understated elegant typography. But for some personality, I brought in the Pizza and one of my personal favorites, the Watercolor Soft Pretzel!

Ryann 2

Inspired by one of my favorite places, Cape Cod. This design is a subtle nod to traditional nautical New England. I knew I wanted to work in some of my favorite motifs, Watercolor Lobster and Beach Ball, but do it in an understated way. By pairing them with classic typography and sophisticated paper colors, these fun and quirky motifs create charm and charisma without being cheesy.
