Over the past couple of years, we’ve found ourselves completely blown away by the thoughtfulness and generous spirits of the couples we’re honored to call Bella Figura brides and grooms.  We think it’s so cool when a couple opts to forgo the traditional guest favors and instead makes a donation to a worthy nonprofit. To encourage this large-hearted trend, in early 2011 we started offering free letterpress favor cards to those couples making a donation to nonprofit organization doing good for the world. We both believe that children should be allowed to enjoy their young lives and play outside with their friends rather to be stuck in a hospital room. We hope that our donation will help the team of doctors find a cure to many of today’s illnesses that primarily attack young children.”

This spring-inspired customization of our Tara letterpress wedding invitation design was printed in chartreuse and downy inks. We love the pairing of cool vintage typography with fresh chartreuse as the starring color.

We’re loving these fun letterpress coasters and coordinating accommodations cards, showcasing our Tara design (a 2010 favorite!). They are printed in daffodil and espresso inks and add a touch of retro cool to any reception or celebration.

We thought we’d share a fun round up of some of the awesome letterpress directions and accommodations cards we’ve printed in recent months. Some of them include maps and other details and some of them simply refer guests to a website with lots of extra information to make their travel easier. These letterpress wedding invitations feature a 1-color version of our Tara design, a fast favorite among our new designs released in early 2010. Printed in pewter ink, it has a modern feel with timeless appeal.

We love this customization of our Tara letterpress wedding invitation design – it’s printed in geranium and downy inks for a look that is both modern and a touch retro with cool vintage-inspired typography. We think these invitations were the perfect first impression for this couple’s wedding, held at The Foundry in Long Island City, a hip venue with a unique modern vibe.
