Unique Modern Light Letterpress Birthday Invitations
These simple, yet wonderfully unique letterpress birthday invitations sent to us by our friends over at By Invitation Only in Arizona are a real treat! The set features our Modern Light design (by Ian Koenig) and includes a beautiful invitation to the party as well as a reply card. Each piece is printed in our espresso ink and has a charming monogram (which show off the initials for the person of honor as well as his birth date) in the top left corner. Getting these in the mail would be almost as sweet as a slice of the Birthday cake!

Letterpress Avant Invitation Booklets With Tear-out RSVP Postcards
In a really cool twist (literally!) on Ben Whitla‘s original Avant design, this letterpress invitation booklet includes a cover page, an invite page, and an RSVP page that have all been grommeted together into a tidy little package. The grommet allows the individual pages to swivel open and close and a perforated tear-out RSVP postcard on the last page lets guests reply without having to worry about envelopes. Great stuff!

A Sweet Serenade Letterpress Wedding Invitation
We recently printed these modern Serenade (by Ian Koenig) letterpress wedding invitations. Our friends at Sweet Paper in La Jolla, California dreamed up this beautiful color combination of Mediterranean and Sand inks on our 1-ply white paper. A solid surf envelope liner anchors the set complimenting these cool hues. From folded thank you notes to website and reply cards this suite simply has it all. Take a refreshing color palette, pair it with a contemporary design and these invitations are singing to a melody all of their own!

Carefree and Colorful Joie de Vivre letterpress wedding invitations!
We are delighted to share these Joie de Vivre (by Kamal) letterpress wedding invitations submitted to us by our friends at Judy Paulen Designs in New York, NY. This stylish set definitely has a cutting-edge vibe. We feel that the perfect pairing of mediterranean and pale gray inks is out of this world. We think you will agree that this design lives up to its name-as the French phrase, “Joie de Vivre” translates to “a carefree enjoyment of life.” This set is customized with fuchsia edge paint and a stellar envelope liner to match!

Totally regal and totally gorgeous this wildly customized rendition of our Plume design (by Amy Graham Stigler) was sent over to us for printing by our BFFs at Judy Paulen Designs in NYC. New Letterpress Reply Cards, Postcard Style!
We’ve noticed a lot more clients choosing letterpress reply postcards over the traditional reply card + envelope for their wedding invitations. We’re all for this trend – it’s more eco (less paper!), and also helps keeps budgets down and keeps letterpress more affordable. Reply postcards cost less to letterpress, and you also save a little bit on the postage. We’ve also seen a huge movement to do 2 color letterpress designs as 1 color (see below for some examples) – a great way to keep your costs down as well while keeping letterpress in your budget. While reply postcards are slightly less formal than reply cards + envelopes, it’s still totally appropriate for even high black tie events. Remember, we’re talking about letterpress postcards on a luxurious cotton paper — they’re still really, really lovely, and we know all of your guests will have trouble parting with them!
Here are a few of our favorites, starting with the Boutique letterpress postcard.

The Champagne letterpress reply postcard — this is usually a two color design, but turning it into a 1 color piece helps keep costs down too.

The Vintage letterpress postcard.

The Deveril letterpress reply postcard.

The Somersby letterpress postcard – another 2 color design that looks lovely in one color.

Lastly, the Nonpareil! This is usually a two color design also.
