Our Irving wedding invitation is the quintessential modern design – bold type and lots of white space make it perfect for any contemporary event. Kelly and Zachary embellished their Irving customization with an all over blind deboss pattern, foil stamping to highlight their names and edge painting for a pop of festive color.

Think our Jute pocketfolds are just for rustic, country affairs? Think again! Nancy and Cullen paired one with our Irving wedding invitation design printed in Gold Shine foil and crisp Black letterpress ink for a flashy yet functional presentation.

If you’ve never seen hand calligraphy on a Bar Mitzvah invitation before, you aren’t alone. But why should weddings have all the hand lettered fun? Here our Belle calligraphy adds a touch of graceful whimsy to the clean, modern layout of our Irving invitation design. Our Brooklyn motif makes an appearance on the envelope liner and the thank you card, paying homage to the city William calls home.

Our letterpress wedding invitations have received some amazing publicity lately, so today it’s time again to say thank you to the amazing editors who have shined the spotlight on Bella Figura this spring! Our first feature is from Martha Stewart Weddings, where we created foil stamped and letterpress wedding invitations for one of their gorgeous real weddings. Megan, the bride, submitted the artwork for us to print — we love the glamorous outcome!
Several of our letterpress wedding invitations were featured in the spring issue of The Knot: our popular gold foil stamped Divya Formal invitation, the modern Dash invitation, and our minimalist Alton invitation were all shown throughout this issue.
Brides magazine featured Bella Figura in several of their recent issues: first, a lovely lavender customization of our Lenox Botanical design was featured in the April / May issue, along with menus, place cards, and favor cards from our Circolo suite.
This set’s actually based around Ben Whitla‘s Irving design, but the client decided to jazz things up with some sweet chevron action on some of the pieces. The Dandelion Patch strikes again with this lovely set, which comes complete with matching coasters to soak up all the suds.

Ben Whitla‘s Irving design is just so restrained and clean – perfect for showcasing the typography and the beautiful impression of letterpress printing. Although these are thank you cards, they could also work just as well as social stationery for daily use. Thanks to Judy Paulen Designs for sending this one our way!

Did you know all of our letterpress and foil stamped coasters are printed on 100% recycled paper? Our coasters are made up of 90% post-consumer waste, 5% pre-consumer waste, and 5% mill waste — it’s a lovely stock that takes the letterpress or foil impression really well. We’ve been printing some really cool coasters for our clients on this new stock over the past few months — take a look!
Designs shown clockwise from top right: Custom design featuring owls from our motif library, Vineyard, Irving, Helena, Rustic Lookout and Circolo. The Circolo design was recently discontinued, but is still available if you’d like to order it!
Aren’t the gold matte, foil-stamped coasters especially beautiful? They feature hand calligraphy accents in Debi Zeinert’s Spencerian style, and they were actually printed for the grand-prize winner of our February Pinterest contest! Earlier this year, we worked with Alice and Beth from Alice G. Patterson Photography on an amazing project we’re really excited to share. Featured recently on Green Wedding Shoes, this collaboration features some of our most popular letterpress invitation designs alongside some incredible miniatures. Alice and Beth set up these picturesque scenes and we were completely blown away with the end result — take a look!
We absolutely love seeing the fabulous celebrations that go hand-in-hand with the invitations we get to print everyday, and we’re always especially excited to see Bella Figura weddings on Style Me Pretty! Anne & Tommy’s Redondo Beach wedding was absolutely gorgeous, so today we’re sharing some of our favorite photos from their big day. The couple chose our elegant Irving invitation to set the tone for their wedding. The design was printed in pale gray and amethyst inks on our white paper for a chic look that coordinated perfectly with the rest of their wedding day elements.
Congratulations to Anne & Tommy!
