Our latest letterpress wedding invitation release was full of many modern gems, but today we’re sharing the top 6 modern invitations so far from 2012. We’ve noticed neon shows its pretty little head in a sophisticated way (or think about neon edge painting on a very formal invite!). Black ink on a modern letterpress design keeps things formal while still feeling new. Foil, of course, is on the list — we are especially loving double foil (think matte silver and shiny silver, or silver paired with gold). We’re so pumped that New York has joined the ranks of the small (but growing) number of states offering equal rights to same sex couples. In honor of this human rights triumph, Bella Figura is helping celebrate by offering free envelope liners to any same sex couple who orders their wedding stationery from us!

To coordinate with their booklet letterpress invitations, we worked with Jennifer and Aret to create special letterpress pieces for their wedding weekend. A welcome booklet detailed weekend events and details and we also printed tea length letterpress dinner menus and table number cards. Oversized letterpress thank you cards (which will later hold a wedding photo) were the perfect finishing touch. Everything was printed in clover and blind deboss on our white cotton paper for a chic and completely sophisticated look.

These incredible letterpress wedding invitations feature a vibrant color palette inspired by Italian pottery. The wedding announcements were printed in Mediterranean and daffodil inks on our luxurious 2-ply paper, and were embellished with surf edge painting. We also printed a petite letterpress save the date card in surf ink along with a letterpress thank you card in daffodil to match.

Here are two more variations of our bestselling Deveril letterpress invitation design: an elegant letterpress save the date in navy, and a letterpress menu, tied with a ribbon & finished with a jewel (wow!). We love the Deveril design for a lot of reasons, but in part we love its historical and joyful nature, its sophistication, and its warm sweet energy all its own.
