Featuring Belle hand calligraphy these Flourish letterpress invitations (by Jamie Lea Bertsch) are what’s happening!  This set features Maybelle Imasa-Stukuls’ Belle hand calligraphy which is one of the many different calligraphy styles we offer.  The stellar pairing of our prussian blue and chartreuse inks looks amazing on our 1-ply ivory paper.  The couple chose our save the date size (A6) for their reply card to better accommodate all of the details of their wedding weekend!  With flat place cards and adorable website cards printed in prussian blue inks-their guests can get the lowdown on the wedding fun!  We’re in love with their flawless tea length programs letterpress printed to match with their set.  The couple even chose precious letterpress thank you cards to match to their invitations.  This heartfelt gesture shows the true appreciation of their friends and family being such an important part of their special day.

We’re so excited to be kicking off our first ever Bella Figura design contest! We’ve reviewed the best-of-the-best invitations sent to us by our amazing retailers, and over the next 10 days we’ll be featuring the contest honorees, as well as the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Our first honoree was sent to us by the Village Invites II in New York, New York. Kudos to the Village Invites II for figuring out how to take two classic Bella designs and turn them into a whole new animal!

This bold, modern letterpress invitation customization combines the best of our Alice (by Tara Hogan) and Deveril (by Beth Ann Seal) designs, and uses ink colors that really pack a punch!

There was no question in our minds that this invite deserved a spot on our design competition lineup. A big thanks to the Village Invites II for sending us this gorgeous customization!

This design won an honorable mention in our Bella Figura design competition for the first half of 2011. This twice-a-year competition recognizes outstanding and inspired design submitted by our beloved dealers.

We recently had the pleasure of working with an amazing local bride on her letterpress wedding invitation suite.  A gorgeous customization of our Plume design (by Amy Graham Stigler), these invitations were printed with two custom-mixed ink colors to match her wedding color palette – perfect for an elegant evening reception!

Another of our new designs for our 2010 collection, this invitation design is a customization of our Lana letterpress wedding invitation design. The pieces are printed in chartreuse and amethyst inks, paired with an amethyst envelope liner and features a script font inspired by handwriting. We love customizing designs for our clients and this lovely Lana customization is a great example of how playing with fonts and ink colors can create a dramatically different look, perfect for whatever the size, shape and color of your event.

This letterpress wedding invitation is our Vignette design printed in garden and pewter inks for an upcoming wedding in Hawaii. We love the color palette and swirly floral and leaf motif for an oceanfront wedding, and it should be noted that we’d really love to be in Hawaii today. With windchill, it’s about -10 degrees in Syracuse right now so a trip someplace warm sounds just right!

This fun customization of our Dewdrop design is printed in spring green and navy inks making these letterpress wedding invitations chic and modern. Dewdrop has easily been one of our most popular designs in 2009 and it has been so much fun to see couples make it their own – this customization is no exception.

While the rest of the world is gearing up for the holidays, around here we’re hard at work helping couples prepare for their upcoming summer 2010 weddings. We’ve been printing a lot of really fabulous letterpress save the dates in recent weeks and had to take a moment to share a couple of our latest favorites. Both of these customizations are great examples of how completely personal you can make one of our Bella Figura letterpress designs just by playing with ink colors, fonts and layout.

This fun letterpress save the date is a customization of our Champagne design, printed here in amethyst and garden inks. The layout is simple, keeping the emphasis on the sans serif type asking guests to save the date. A website address is provided in the lower corner so guests have easy access to further details and information about the event while keeping the design of the save the date itself clean and modern.

Using our Mimosa design, this couple opted for a vertical orientation with champagne and garden inks to make this design their own. The play between all lowercase serif type and all uppercase serif type for their names makes it a bit more playful and fun than a more traditional layout. We love these vibrant colors – they’ll be perfect for a summer wedding!

There is something really fun about working with couples to print letterpress save the dates for their upcoming weddings – they’re often newly engaged and completely excited as they delve into wedding planning. So, when we recently had the opportunity to print these awesome save the dates, we were beyond thrilled. In our Majorca design, printed in cream and garden inks, these save the dates actually feature two cards in our reply card size that are then fastened together with a grommet, a simple yet completely unique feature that we love!

The first card features basic save the date information including the wedding date and location – the date is emphasized in large serif type for a look that is clean and modern.

The second card features detailed lodging and travel information for guests traveling from out of town. Providing such details can prove immensely useful for guests as they prepare to join you for your celebration.

This kind of truly customized letterpress save the date is our favorite to print – we love seeing couples take our designs and play with font and sizes and colors to totally reinvent something that is perfect for their unique event. This cute little letterpress social note – a customization of our Joyful Yarrow design – is perfect as a thank you note or for everyday correspondence. Printed in navy paired with a punch of bright yarrow ink, it’s fun, a little bit unexpected and definitely doesn’t take itself too seriously. Sure to bring a smile to any recipient’s face, we’re in love with fun and fresh letterpress social note and letterpress thank you card designs.

Our Cartoccio letterpress wedding invitation design has become a fast favorite and it’s easy for us to see why – it is so incredibly chic! This customization is one of our favorites that we’ve recently printed, because it’s so lovely and so luxurious. Printed on our 2-ply ivory paper in 2-color letterpress, this invitation set is an absolute showstopper. Featuring garden and antique gold inks, it’s a look that is modern, but with the all of the subtle formality of a more traditional letterpress invitation design. Paired with fabulous letterpress printed envelopes with beautiful metallic gold liners, this invitation is rich in detail and personality. Even the reply cards are printed on our luxurious 2-ply paper for a finished look that is completely polished. We can’t get enough!
