Earlier this year, we worked with Alice and Beth from Alice G. Patterson Photography on an amazing project we’re really excited to share. Featured recently on Green Wedding Shoes, this collaboration features some of our most popular letterpress invitation designs alongside some incredible miniatures. Alice and Beth set up these picturesque scenes and we were completely blown away with the end result — take a look!

Bella Figura calligrapher Debi Zeinert shared this close up look at her amazing work, a video that features her various calligraphy styles. Featuring the gorgeous hand calligraphy of Debi Zeinert, Classic Calligraphy definitely tends to be one of our more, well, classic designs.  Throw some fresh Navy ink and vibrant Watermelon edge painting into the mix though, and you get a really great splash of bold contemporary style.  A brightly contrasting edge paint color is a wonderful way to make things fun and current without going too far overboard and loosing the vintage-inspired vibe of the overall set.  These invitations also feature a cute website card – an elegant and eco-friendly way to direct guests to your website for additional wedding details.

We loved seeing this real wedding featuring an absolutely dazzling Bella Figura bride and her dapper groom on Style Me Pretty recently. They planned a Gatsby inspired affair, traditional, black-tie, and completely stylish. (Check out her gorgeous Oscar de la Renta lace dress and headpiece!) A garden wedding was followed by an indoor formal seated dinner, all filled with romantic details. Our Classic Calligraphy letterpress invitations set the stage, with gorgeous calligraphy from Bella Figura calligraphy Debi Zeinert of The Blooming Quill showcased throughout their stunning celebration.

Inspired by their venue, the Burlingame Country Club, they let their love of romantic flowers and letterpress lead the way when planning all of the details. The bride shares, “I chose the most amazing French florist to create our garden setting with big romantic fluffy arrangements in the softest shades of cream, peach and lavender. Being a true lover of stationery, I knew I had to have letterpress. Our save the dates showcased two lovebirds, an element that would also be featured on our wedding day with two live doves in a fairy-tale birdcage decorated with ferns and full blooms…We tried to incorporate all the things we found to be beautiful to us as a couple while keeping it a classic and timeless soiree. With an amazingly talented and fun disco band, beloved family and great friends, our wedding was complete with surprise appearances from an enchanting fox; a family of deer and of course, our two lovebirds. Looking back, I truly wish I could plan a wedding every year! It was the most incredible experience and undoubtedly the greatest day of our lives.”

We were really excited to receive a beautiful package in the mail recently from Lisa Lefkowitz, a renowned wedding photographer whose work we just adore. Her images are just so beautiful! Lisa was sweet enough to share images from a wedding she shot showcasing the beautiful Classic Calligraphy letterpress wedding invitations we printed for Joanna and Christopher. The couple also worked directly with our calligrapher Debi Zeinert of The Blooming Quill for envelope addressing, signage at their reception and the prettiest of calligraphy place cards.

Thank you for sharing, Lisa, and a big congratulations to Joanna and Christopher! Your wedding was absolutely beautiful and we wish you all the best in the years to come.
