Bella Figura’s letterpress wedding invitations have been featured in some fantastic publications lately, and thanks are long overdue for these amazing spotlights! Today we’ve got a round-up of some of the wonderful press we’ve received this spring. First up, a fabulous customization of our String Calligraphy design that was featured in an A-Z stationery guide by Martha Stewart Weddings. The featured piece was a letterpress rehearsal dinner invitation in hot pink ink with a perforated, tear-off reply postcard.

The April issue of Brides magazine featured Bella Figura invitations twice! A customization of our Lace invitations (complete with a custom, Lace patterned envelope liner!) fit in perfectly with a Black Lace trend watch, and our String Calligraphy design was also featured in a fabulous stationery guide.

The gorgeous Volume IV of Southern Weddings magazine included an amazing spread with a theme called “Paper, Cotton, and Flour”, and we were so thrilled to be a part of this fabulous photo shoot! Our Honoured Guest, Loretta Formal, Collection, Bradford, and Anais designs were all letterpress printed in pretty shades of blue for the shoot.

The winter edition of Stationery Trends Magazine showcased several Bella Figura designs as well: Typology, Magnolia, and Serenade were all featured throughout the issue.

We were also thrilled to be a part of the following photo shoots: Erica Ann Photography’s Scandinavian Inspired Bridal Shoot; Starfish Studios + Sugar(ed) Occasions Estancia Culinaria photo shoot (as seen on Style Me Pretty Florida!); a fabulous purple & gold inspiration shoot by Dana Fitzgerald and Katelyn James, as seen on The Wedding Chicks; and Equally Wed’s eco-inspired photo shoot. Featured recently on Green Wedding Shoes, this collaboration features some of our most popular letterpress invitation designs alongside some incredible miniatures. Alice and Beth set up these picturesque scenes and we were completely blown away with the end result — take a look!

We just love when magazines and blogs decide to showcase the beautiful letterpress printing we get to do every day, so today we’re sharing some of the amazing features Bella Figura has been spotted in over the past few months. One of the most recent spotlights was found in the fall 2011 issue of Inside Weddings, where Kamal‘s majestic Bejeweled design sparkled.

A few months back, Brides magazine highlighted our Nouvina design by Heidi, which features modern, whimsical flowers and fun, bold colors.

Stationery Trends also decided to feature one of our invitations this fall — the ever popular Irving invitation (designed by Ben Whitla).

We were also thrilled to see one of our calligraphers, Patricia Mumau of Primele, featured in Martha Stewart Weddings a few months back!

We’d also like to thank Oh So Beautiful Paper, Once Wed, Modernly Wed, Chic Vintage Brides, Wed Haute, If I Must Say So, and I Love You Too for highlighting our work — thank you, thank you!

We spotted another stunning Bella Figura bride and groom real wedding feature on Style Me Pretty! The ceremony and reception took place at the historic Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, Arizona. We love the details, color scheme, and most of all the jaw-dropping open-back dress by Monique Lhuillier. Our Victoria Calligraphy Letterpress Invitations by Sarah Hanna were printed in black ink on our luxurious 2-ply ivory paper and perfectly complimented the event with classic elegance.

The couple planned an outdoor ceremony and reception all within a “garden-party” theme but encountered an unexpected twist! The bride says,  “The weather gods had a different plan for us, however, as it decided to pour the day of our wedding and was freezing cold (ok, it was in the 40s, but that’s freezing for us Arizonans!)We made the decision to move everything indoors the morning of the wedding and I was a little concerned that our Plan B back-up space would end up looking like a generic ballroom. However, through sheer determination and incredibly hard work, our design team, Avant-Garde Studio, and our event planner, Rhonda Rush, were able to “recreate” my garden party theme indoors.  Avant-Garde even built the entire tent structure inside the ballroom and draped all of the walls.  They made the ballroom incredibly unique looking and beautiful. We moved the ceremony into the architecturally stunning Aztec Ballroom and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Despite the rain, the day was perfect, and the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch.  The sun even made an appearance long enough for our wonderful photographer, Elyse Hall, to snap some beautiful outdoor shots before the festivities began. The food was delicious, the music was lively and the dancing seemed to last all night, just like we wanted.”

Recently we were thrilled to be featured in the last two issues of one of our favorite wedding magazines out there, New York Weddings. New York Weddings is full of the best of the best wedding inspiration and ideas and includes vendor listings showcasing the finest wedding professionals in the New York area. In the Winter 2010 issue they featured a letterpress reply card in our Mimosa design, designed for us by Amy Graham Stigler.

In the Summer 2010 issue we were lucky enough to get a double feature! They showcased our Meadow letterpress wedding invitations by Erin Jang and our Botanique design by Kamal.

As promised, we wanted to share the Pride & Prejudice inspiration shoot we recently worked on with Anne Sage of The City Sage that appeared in the last issue of Nonpareil Magazine and also on Style Me Pretty. We just love these incredible images are by talented wedding photographer extraordinaire Lisa Lefkowitz. All of the paper goods were our Cameo design letterpress printed in celadon and cream.

Last spring we featured the cool custom skyline letterpress wedding invitations we printed for Julie and Noam, designed by their friend Katerina Barry of Your Day Designs. Today we were thrilled to see their gorgeous New York City wedding featured on one of our favorite wedding blogs, Snippet & Ink. They held their celebration at the stunning Angel Orensanz Foundation and worked with Hatch Creative Studio for the gorgeous flowers.
