As 2010 quickly approaches, we wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a very happy New Year! Thank you for making 2009 such a fabulous year for all of us at Bella Figura – it has been a pleasure celebrating with you and we look forward to many more happy occasions in 2010. We’re also thrilled to introduce our 2010 collection, created exclusively for us by some of the nation’s most talented and sought after designers and artists. Starting next week, we’ll be sharing lots of details about our new designs and our designers, but for now here is a little peek at just a few of the new letterpress wedding invitation designs that have us so very excited for 2010.
In celebration of 2009, check out some of our favorite customizations of letterpress wedding invitation designs we printed in 2009:
Majorca letterpress save the dates with grommets
Yellow and gray square Dewdrop letterpress wedding invitations
Cartoccio letterpress baby announcements
Pool and pale gray Buttonpom letterpress wedding invitations
My wedding invitations – Keswick in pale gray and mediterranean
Pink and papaya Somersby letterpress wedding invitations
Custom skyline letterpress wedding invitations
Deveril red letterpress wedding invitations
This unique letterpress thank you card was one of our favorite customizations of 2009. It’s our Majorca design printed in espresso and cardinal inks with a fun square shape that makes it truly one of a kind.
This darling letterpress baby announcement is based on our Floweret letterpress wedding invitation design. It is printed in papaya and champagne inks for a fresh and cheerful look, the perfect way to welcome a new baby girl to the family.
This fun customization of our Dewdrop design is printed in spring green and navy inks making these letterpress wedding invitations chic and modern. Dewdrop has easily been one of our most popular designs in 2009 and it has been so much fun to see couples make it their own – this customization is no exception.
The soft pale colors of this customization of our Buttonpom letterpress wedding invitation has us thinking about all things winter, which is probably appropriate considering we just got our first snow fall here in Syracuse overnight. We printed this set in pool and pale gray inks and love how the soft subtle colors allow the beauty of letterpress to take center stage.
This bilingual letterpress wedding invitation is our New Calligraphy design. It’s a double-sided customization on our thick 2-ply cotton paper featuring one side printed in English with the reverse in Spanish. Both sides were printed in antique gold ink and edge painted in antique gold – a really special way of making a simple 1-color design shine with personality.
The classic beauty of our Deveril design has long made it a favorite, and we loved the opportunity to print this version in vibrant fuchsia ink. This is a letterpress ceremony program in a tea length size, featuring all of the applicable ceremony details from order of events to wedding party information.
Our Nantucket letterpress wedding invitation design is a favorite with our brides and grooms and it is easy to see why – it’s just so elegant and sophisticated, perfect for weddings of many styles. Recently we had the chance to print these letterpress reception menus and letterpress table numbers and just love how elegant and timeless they are.
Printed in Cloud 9 and black inks, the letterpress reception menus feature Spencerian hand calligraphy accents paired with a classic serif font for a look that is formal elegance at its best. The table numbers are a simple 1-color letterpress design printed in Cloud 9, left blank in the middle for a calligrapher to add the table name or number as appropriate. We love the touch of class and luxury letterpress reception menus and table numbers add to an event and these are right up there among our recent favorites.
