When we printed the first sample of Maison, we nearly swooned to the concrete floor of our print shop-how could a wedding invitation be so darn pretty? We're serious: the crisp sapphire and sand inks, the curtain of flowers cascading towards the text, the perfect balance of positive and negative space, luxurious caramel European envelopes makes this one of our favorite jaw-dropping designs.
The illustration's electric floral effect evokes for us a 19th century romance that will sweep anyone off their feet-something that takes place in a French villa outside of Paris, perhaps, by candlelight, with heaps of elegance, prestige, good wine, hard cheese, and a backdrop of delicate French fabrics. With Maison, every element in our printing comes together to set a breathtaking scene for your wedding.
We're always happy to print this design using whichever ink colors you'd like, and we're happy to offer advice on color combinations as well. Also note that letterpress samples are available only in one color combination (the sample color photographed on our web site). With sample orders, we do include an ink book that shows all our alternate inks.
